Private, or secret, last dances have been happening more recently at our weddings, and we love them! Here's how it works: at the end of the reception, we ask all of the guests to leave the reception hall and let the newlyweds have an intimate last dance, just the two of them!
Of course, this is not for everyone, but if this something you would love to do with your new wife or husband, let your DJ know! Maybe when you were thinking of a special song for your first dance, you had a really hard choice between two or three songs. The private last dance gives you that chance to share a special moment with your bride/groom with that runner-up song.
We are touched every time we do this to have the privilege to witness such a beautiful moment. Me or Team Lujan will even try to get a good photo or video of it too, but we will stay out of the way and not distract the newlyweds.
